Stalking Millionaires & Hacking APIs

Well more than half my subscribers on Substack have been following me since I first started writing on AfterHour. If you’re not one of those, it’s basically a social app dedicated to stock trading where users connect broker accounts via SnapTrade (whole article on why we went ConnectTrace over SnapTrade for TraderMatrix will be coming).
One thing the app makes difficult to find that I’ve always wondered is, how many silent whales are there and what are they holding?
You’re welcome.

@AnalysisPilot and @BearHugger have about 3 million dollars between the two of them and can’t even break the double digits in followers together.
The Clout Inversion Law: Retail clout on trading social networks is inversely correlated with verified capital. The accounts below hold seven- and eight-figure verified portfolios while flying completely under the radar with minimal followers.
Totally real term that I just made up in the Clout Inversion Law, but I wasn’t surprised to see it. Next door millionaires hiding in plain sight, eating their popcorn and watching the idiots fight in app while collecting retail money. Yummy.
Our current top whale on the other hand is no secret around those parts: TrogdorStrikesAgain, whom we’ve seen ride his $ASTS position to heights most mortals can only dream of.

Speaking of ASTS, he’s not the only whale who’s been loading up:

69 whales, $16.4M, and Trogdor’s the top holder. It’s my current top holding, and a favorite of almost every income Wheeler I know.
Developers, go reverse engineer your own here: https://github.com/mphinance/aftermath/blob/main/AFTERHOUR_API_SPEC.md
Of course I turned this into an MCP server so you can connect it to your favorite agent: https://ah.mphinance.com/mcp/ (actually addressable at https://ah.mphinance.com/api/mcp) and can reach the main site here:
